Foreigners seeking a Neo-Nomad visa must demonstrate a consistent monthly income amounting to no less than $3,000, possess valid health insurance and furnish a document verifying their clean criminal record. This visa option caters to professionals across a wide range of fields such as IT, marketing, finance, consulting, design, and e-commerce.
The individuals holding the visa are permitted to reside in Kazakhstan for a duration of one year and can still be employed by a company based in another country. This opportunity enables foreigners to fully experience the local customs and traditions, while also boosting Kazakhstan’s economic growth potential — with projections indicating a potential annual revenue increase of approximately $8 million if 500 visas are granted.
Participants in the New Nomad program will live in Kazakhstan and contribute financially to the local economy. The initiative has no adverse impact on the employment opportunities for local citizens, as foreigners do not compete for jobs in the country.
