In order to give visitors a better viewpoint and experience, it was felt necessary in 2015 to upgrade the current infrastructure. On June 13, 2016, His Eminence Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche, Head of Hemis Monastery, inaugurated the renovated Hall of Fame, which was re-dedicated to the people of Ladakh. The General Officer Commanding 14 Corps, the CEC LAHC, and the MP of Ladakh also attended the ceremony.

The main museum building, the war memorial, the war cemetery, the souvenir shop, the café aroma, the children’s adventure park, and the 50-vehicle parking area now make up the Hall of Fame complex after the expansion project.
