Day 1: Guwahati Arrival | Drive to Kaziranga National Park (191 Kilometers, 4 hours)

You might now travel to Dirang, a little hill town surrounded by verdant forests and snow-capped mountains. Visit the Jung Falls on the way there, which gained popularity after appearing in the film Koyla. Visit the Kiwi Gardens and Apple Orchards.

Day 7: Drive from Dirang to Guwahati (300 Kilometers, 8 Hours)
You can return to Guwahati after bidding your farewell to the passes of Tawang. En route, you can visit Thembang Village, a fortified village from the 12th century famous for its Monpa homes.
Thembang is a walled city that is located on a hilltop at a height of 2,300 meters and is home to numerous ancient buildings, the most significant of which is the Dzong (fortified building). It has two gates, one for emergency situations at the southern end and the other at the northern end.
Thembang’s main feature is the way its people uphold ecological balance as a component of their socio-cultural existence. The Monpas have used their ancient knowledge systems to preserve the history of their vernacular architecture, preserving their natural and cultural heritage in the process
Day 8: Departure from Guwahati
Have an early morning breakfast and depart from Guwahati with fond memories of the trip as there’s an ending to everything and a beginning that awaits after every ending.
