1.   Virabhadrasana B (Warrior II)

While achieving the right posture during this pose your front knee should be bent so that your high will be parallel to the ground. Hold this pose for some time and switch sides. 

 2.      Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand)

This asana is all about balancing your body on your shoulders. It is beneficial in the functioning of all parts of the body and is called ‘Queen of asanas’. To achieve this pose, you have to lie on your back with hands on the sides. Lift your legs, hips and back to come up on your shoulders and give support to your back with your hands. 

This asana helps in improving digestion and stimulates the thyroid, further increasing your strength. It helps you shed the extra kilos and improves your respiratory system, strengthens the upper body. It also boosts metabolism and helps in improving your digestion.

 3.      Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge)

To achieve this pose, lie on your back and stretch your hands sideways, fold your knees and spread them out and lift your body up from the pelvis. Hold the position by taking support from your hands. This pose works wonders for your weight loss. It stimulates your abdominal organs by improving your digestion. It calms the brain and helps in managing stress, relaxes tired legs and improves digestion. 

 4.      Dhanurasana (Bow)

Lie down on your stomach and rest your arms sideways of your body. Grip your ankles with your hands and lift your knees from your hips, also lifting your thighs. It is a good pose to strengthen your thighs, chest, and back. It improves your posture and stimulates the neck and abdomen. It expands your chest by increasing the breathing capacity of your lungs. 

 5.      Trikonasana (Triangle)

This asana is much easier than other asanas but its benefits are not less. It improves your digestion and burns fat in the belly. It strengthens the legs, knees, ankles, arms and chest. It also helps in reducing anxiety, stress and back pain.

6.  Suryanamaskar (Sun salutations)

Suryanamaskar is a combination of 12 yoga poses. It has a positive impact on the body and mind. It is most effective when done in the early morning on an empty stomach. It helps in maintaining cardiovascular health. It stretches the muscles and improves blood circulation. It leads to the building of heat inside your body which stretches and tones your muscles. It is very helpful in burning fat, improving your metabolism and digestive system.
